I tried using this to send via an authenticated SMTP server that works fine with BLAT (free command line emailer) using the exact same settings but it would never actually send the message. Several times it ran the CPU to 100% and locked up. Several times it just locked up but at least didn't kill the CPU. Only once did it get as far as to display a message saying it couldn't connect. I've always wanted a little utility like this that would do what BLAT does but with a minimal GUI. If you had your hopes up like I did that this would do the trick, you might want to lower your expectations a bit so you won't be disappointed.

Enter QuickMailer. QuickMailer is a great Mac App that only sends email. If you use Mail.app then it can just use the accounts in Mail. If, like me, you don’t use Mail.app because it’s terrible, then it can also accept its own SMTP credentials to send the email. Using ⌃⌘⌥M (control + command + option + M) brings up QuickMailer in your. QuickMailer 2.2 Radmin Viewer 3.0 Superscan 3.0 TCP Optimizer 2.03 Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 TightVNC 1.3.9.
