![]() ![]() Little negative gain to achieve a DC to light match to 50 ohms. Prior to this, I've been using a stout dipole broadband coaxial antenna system HFĪntennas here must be durable, or they simply will not survive. Weather and fierce gusts every year in this Pacific coastal zone. My experiences selecting it, assembling it, putting it up, tuning theĪntenna, and how it performs on the air for 80m-10m ALE operation. Vertical to cover the HF ham- bands- only. Potential for ham radio ALE station operators as an efficient Time, my initial impression is that I believe it has excellent Provides low SWR on ALL the HF ham bands, good RF efficiency, durable construction, light weight, with convenient installation. Lead times are a week to ten days.maybe sooner.Butternut HF9V Vertical as a Ham Radio ALE Antennaīenefits to the ham radio ALE operator: No tuner needed. Im betting its 10-12 peak on an LT1 powered car and solid area under the curve gains.I should have some LT1 dyno info soon enough but everyone has been really pleased.Įmail, PM or call if you guys have any questions.the new V2 is being offered at $450 for a short term promotional price.Īlso Im working on getting them up on my site so if you want a V2 now type of thing order it direct through me or wait till you see the V2 product up there.should be done by the weekend at the latest. While it is an LT4 comparison Im still confident an LT1 powered car would compare in a similar fashion with more power everywhere.just not quite as much as the LT4 which is a little more hungry for airflow This is a good post for guys looking for more data and better pictures to compare ![]() I'm supposed to be at the track in 2 weeks so we will see how it goes then, assuming they let us run. It was a 2nd gear course and my RPMs after the start never got below 2500 and peaked at 6300 and I never felt a hiccup anywhere and as I said before, it pulled harder up to the peak RPM like never before. I did my first autocross with this TB this last March and it performed very well. FWIW, I manually set my suspension, and steering an drive in Sport or Track mode for the more linear throttle curve program. If it makes more power, which I'm sure it does but I do not dyno graphs or drag slips to compare before and after with, it is overshadowed by the feel you get from the increased throttle response. The engine feels to pull easier at the upper RPMs. ![]() The dead spot on tip-in is gone, so taking off from a stop is much easier. It made a world of difference in how the car feels in daily driving and on the autocross. I have a Mamo V2 on my otherwise stock '18 1LE. Do you think it would be a good spend on a completely stock LT1? ![]()
